The magnetoencephalograph (MEG) scanner will provide doctors the ability to look inside the brain with greater vision thats never been possible before, giving patients in need of brain surgery the assurance of a safer and more effective surgery and allowing doctors to identify the region of the brain giving rise to epileptic seizures.
The Nebraska Medical Center is one of only about a dozen clinical sites in the country to have a MEG scanner.
