What are the treatment options?

Treatment of varicose veins may not be necessary if there are no symptoms. However, varicose veins may worsen if left untreated. Treatment for varicose veins includes both medical and surgical management. An ultrasound of your legs will be done prior to seeing you to make sure that your varicose veins are not caused by an undiagnosed problem or anatomical malformation.
