What is The Nebraska Medical Center
The Nebraska Medical Center is one of the region's premier health systems in the
country serving nearly 25 percent of the Omaha area market. The regional health
system is known for excellence innovation and quality patient care. As the teaching
hospital for the University of Nebraska's health sciences programs, this 735 licensed
bed facility has an international reputation for providing solid organ and bone
marrow transplantation services and is well known nationally and regionally for
its oncology, neurology and cardiology programs.
Who do I make my check out to and where do I send it?
Please make your check payable to The Nebraska Medical Center. If you wish to designate
your gift to a department or program please indicate in the "memo" line on your

Is my gift tax deductible
Yes, The Nebraska Medical Center is a 501C(3) non-profit organization. All gifts
made to The Nebraska Medical Center are tax deductible to the extent allowed by
law.
I am interested in donating my organs, what should I do?
You can become an organ donor by simply signing the back of your drivers license
or an organ donor card and by telling your family your wishes. If you would like
to speak to someone at The Nebraska Medical Center about organ donation, please
call the Anatomical Department at 402-559-6249.
Can I make a gift in honor of or in memory of someone?
Yes, please provide the name of the person you are honoring and if known, their
address so we can notify them of your gift. If you are making a gift in memory of
someone, please provide the name of the deceased as well as the name of their next
